Toilet not flushing / Toilet Flush/ Toilet handle won’t work:

A common causes of a toilet not flushing is failure of the toilet syphon (sometimes misspelt siphon).  Another reason for a toilet flush to fail is the toilet handle itself.  If not the toilet handle then perhaps the toilet handle lever arm or the syphon hook has snapped.

Sometimes the cistern syphon installed is a “3 Part” syphon.  In the syphon diaphragm can be replaced inside the toilet syphon without removing the toilet cistern (if a close coupled toilet) potentially saving time fixing your toilet flush.
